Last Friday we hosted a children’s party at The Dutch Centre in London to celebrate the launch of the new modernised books featuring the classic character, Miffy. Celebrities, the press and Miffy fans attended to share their love for Miffy.

Stars including singer Beverley Knight, Cliff Parisi and Ben Caplan from BBC series ‘Save the Midwife’, Model Imogen Thomas, Loose Women presenter and Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson, Comedians Katherine Ryan and Jeff Leach, Chef and Restaurateur Thomasina Miers and TV Presenter, John Sergeant attended the packed party with their families and friends.

Miffy, the classic bunny character created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna nearly 60 years ago, is set to attract a new generation of fans, thanks to a range of updated books Miffy at the GalleryMiffy at the Zoo and Miffy which launch nationwide tomorrow (27 Feb). For the first time in almost 50 years, the text in Bruna’s best-selling children’s storybooks has been refreshed for a modern British audience – by award-winning poet, Tony Mitton.
