Created Created in 1955, Dick Bruna's classic character Miffy has multi-generational appeal with UK licensed consumer products spanning babies, toddlers, kids and adults.

Highlight manages the brand's UK communications, including all social content, paid ads and daily community management.

Our Role

  • Increase UK social community YOY by 5% in 2021
  • On board paid & organic influencers to drive brand advocacy
  • Create monthly IG Reels in the brand's tone of voice
  • Use social to drive traffic to Miffy webshop

Our Approach

Utilising the power of Instagram Reels, we hopped on TiKTok trends such as themed toast recipes, and created fun, engaging content for our millennial and Gen Z Miffy fans.

We also generated monthly influencer content (paid and organic) featuring licensed products within lifestyle settings, to support consumer launches at retail and on the Miffy webshop.

Our Results

  • 967.9k combined IG Reel views in 2021 – one had 143k views alone!
  • 12 days of Xmas competition, #MistletoeMiffy: 377.5k IG Reel views
  • 2021 Instragram growth: +16.7% YOY, 20k new followers
  • 300+ items of influencer content, reaching 10m+ followers
  • Social media directly generated £4.6k+ of webshop sales
