Publicising new sculpture trail for Bath

Ten years since Bath’s last art trail, Minerva’s Owls involves 80+ colourful sculptures decorated by local artists, on display over summer 2018 and then auctioned for charity in October.

 

OUR BRIEF

  • Build awareness of trail via PR, social media and influencer marketing
  • Attract local businesses, schools and artists to get involved
  • Manage two major press events at The Roman Baths and Royal Crescent
  • Drive website visits, app downloads and charity donations
  • Grow an engaged social community amongst people doing the trail, locals and visitors

OUR RESULTS

  • 220 pieces of coverage achieved Jan-July (estimated views 1.06m)
  • Features in The Guardian, The Times, Daily Telegraph, BBC Points West, ITV West Country and all local media
  • 4,000 strong social media community built from scratch
  • Attracted 23,000 web visitors spending an average of 2m30s on the site
  • Almost 3000 app downloads in first 3 weeks of trail launching
